ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

We started Abnormal Logic in 2018 because we kept seeing the same pattern. Organizations would spend millions on Workday, go live, and then struggle for years. Not because the technology failed, but because the ownership, alignment, and clarity needed to make it work were never built alongside it.

We've spent over a decade inside those struggles. Cleaning up what got rushed. Rebuilding what broke. Helping teams who were doing their best with a system that wasn't set up for them to succeed.

What we learned is that most Workday problems are organizational problems that show up through the technology. And until someone addresses what's underneath, the fixes don't hold.

WHY WORK WITH US
We diagnose with data, not assumptions

Every engagement is grounded in evidence. We analyze system data to find where problems actually live: which processes create lag, where errors accumulate, where cycle times break down. You get visibility into what's happening so leadership can prioritize based on facts.

We find the real problem, even when it's uncomfortable

Most Workday struggles trace back to ownership that was never assigned, alignment that was assumed but never built, and decisions made under pressure that were never revisited. We say that directly, even when it implicates leadership, because configuration changes don't fix organizational problems.

We protect the people doing the work

Your internal team has been holding things together under difficult conditions. We don't compete with them. We work alongside them, build their capability while we execute, and make sure they're positioned as part of the solution.

We stay close through delivery

You won't get handed off after the first conversation. In diagnostic work, we conduct stakeholder interviews throughout, not just at kickoff. In embedded work, our consultants integrate with your team with weekly tracking built in. The rhythm varies by service, but we stay accountable for progress.

We're honest about fit

We'd rather tell you we're not the right partner than force an engagement that won't work. If your situation calls for AMS, staff augmentation, or a different approach, we'll say so. You'll know in the first conversation whether we can help.

HOW WE DELIVER
Every engagement is supported by a structured delivery model built for consistency, quality, and continuity.

Our services are built on defined methodologies, proprietary diagnostic tools, and documented processes developed from years of pattern recognition across Workday environments.

Each engagement is staffed with consultants matched to your modules and needs, supported by methodologies, frameworks, and delivery infrastructure designed for consistency and continuity.

LEADERS WE PARTNER WITH
WHO WE HELP
ORGINIZATIONS

US-based companies with 500 to 10,000 employees, typically 1 month to 60 months post go-live.

INDUSTRIES

Technology & SaaS, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Manufacturing & Industrial, Professional Services, Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, and Nonprofit.

CHROs

You need Workday to support talent strategy and employee experience, not create friction that undermines both. When adoption is low and reporting is unreliable, the pressure lands on you.

CFOs

You need clarity on what Workday is costing, what it's delivering, and whether continued investment makes sense. When headcount data doesn't reconcile and manual workarounds eat up cycles, that's your problem to solve.

CIOs

You need platform stability and data governance across functions. When decisions in HR and Finance create integration failures or security gaps, you're the one fielding the escalations.

Workday/HRIS Directors:

You need support that strengthens your team and protects your credibility. When the backlog grows faster than your capacity and every release feels like a fire drill, you need a partner who makes things better, not harder.

CRITERIA

We work best with organizations that:
  • Are live on Workday, but it's not delivering what it should â€‹

  • Recognize the problem might be deeper than the symptoms â€‹

  • Are willing to invest in clarity before action â€‹

  • Want a partner who strengthens their team, not replaces it â€‹

  • Have leadership willing to be part of the conversation

We're not the right fit for organizations that:
  • Are pre-implementation or mid-implementation (with limited exceptions for Advisory)

  • Want staff augmentation or hourly support without structure

  • Have executive leaders that are unwilling to support, participate or drive change

  • Have highly matrixed global operations requiring coordination across 3+ countries
